Rescue Diver Program |
Course Requirements:
- Minimum age: 15 years old
- Open Water SCUBA Diver certification
- Advanced Open Water SCUBA Diver certification
- Emergency First Responder certification
- Includes books and tuition

Included in the Course
This course requires classroom and water sessions. First you will learn the necessary skills and techniques, once these are mastered then the course will move to the open water location for a full weekend of training and practice. This course will cover the following topics for rescue:
- Self-rescue and diver stress
- Diving first aid
- Swimming and non-swimming assists
- Surfacing the unconscious diver
- Underwater problems
- Missing diver procedures
- Panicked diver response
- In-water artificial respiration
- Dive accident scenarios
- First aid procedures for pressure related accidents
- Emergency management and equipment considerations
