What does a Diver do during their surface interval in Paradise? The question should probably be what DOESN'T a diver do during their surface interval. Hawaii is a truly a tropical paradise and has large variety of things to do, it can be difficult to determine how to best fill your stay here...(while not underwater of course).

Pacific Paradise Divers thought we could give a helping hand to share the non-diving activities that we do,when for some reason we can't be underwater.

Feel free to Contact Pacific Paradise Divers for assistance on any of these additional Hawaii activities!

SNORKEL HANA'UMA BAY
Hana'uma bay has fabulous snorkeling, and diving for that matter. However, if you are looking for a surface interval activity for the whole family - this is the one for you. Hana'uma Bay is a nature preserve and very protected from weather elements. The reef is shallow and there is a large abundance of happy healthy fish who will come right up and greet you.

ENJOY THE WINDWARD SIDE
The windward side of Oahu gets a consistent breeze from the trade winds. Which actually makes for a perfect spot to enjoy Kite Surfing, Wind Surfing, Sailing and more. Even just watching the kite surfers can be an adrenaline rush. Not too mention the fact that our windward beaches are by far some of the most beautiful on the island. Kailua beach is a beautiful stretch of sand 3 miles long!

EVERYBODYS GOING SURFING
Ever thought of trying your hand at Surfing? Well Hawaii is the place to do it. The waves at Waikiki seem as though they were put there to teach people to surf. The nice long lazy wave, gives those beginners ample time to take their time, get their balance and catch that wave. Or if you are an old pro, there are some of the worlds best surf spots on this island.

OCEAN KAYAKING
Ocean kayaking is tons of fun in Paradise, the water is so clear you can see the fish from your kayak. You are practically guaranteed to see an endangered green sea turtle pop its head up for air at some point during your journey. Also fun to catch a few waves on your kayak. Then have a picnic on one of our many little islands off the island's east shore.

SUBMARINE RIDE
Take a ride on the Atlantis submarine, truly a once in a lifetime experience to ride around on a boat underwater. Even as a diver this is a very enjoyable experience - and a great place to take those non diving family and friends when on vacation in Oahu Hawaii. Plus you may just get a glimpse of just how funny looking SCUBA divers are.

THE HAWAIIAN LU'AU
You absolutely can not visit Hawaii and not go to a Luau. The Kalua pig, two scoops of rice, haupia pudding, and don't forget to try the poi! But Luaus are more than just the meal, they are full of enlightening entertainment on Hawaiian traditions in ceremony dance and more. Wait until you see the Fire Knife Dancing live! We have got the very best luau of the island chain here on Oahu.

SWIM WITH DOLPHINS
A wonderful component of our Hawaiian waters are the pods of spinner dolphins that occupy the Oahu shores. Spinner dolphins are a bit smaller than those most are used to, the bottlenose dolphin, but they are no less energetic. How about a chance to swim with the dolphins in the ocean? We can tell you how to get a Marine Biologist guided tour to snorkeling with these beautiful creatures in the waters surrounding Hawaii.
